Trainer - Web Content Management System

About the Job

This is a great opportunity for an energetic, self-driven and forward thinking individual with teaching/training,
web development, content management or application support experience to get involved in a small and fast
growing IT firm.

The Trainer will be responsible for conducting training both at the client site as well as over the web and
participating in various onboarding tasks of our Intranet and Policy Management solutions to hospitals and
healthcare clients throughout the US. Depending on the candidate’s experience and skills the new hire may be
tasked with other responsibilities such as assisting support, development of training or support videos,
conducting or participating in web demonstrations or minor web development.
The trainer is expected to become an expert of the system and should be able to provide guidance to clients in
terms of best use of HospitalPortal.net technologies and website design best practices with use of
HospitalPortal.net tools. In addition to conducting training the trainer will be expected to assist with
development of training resources to aid successful adoption of HospitalPortal.net solutions.
The ideal candidate would: have experience teaching; would be well organized with task management; would
have experience with web design such as developing websites or web-application as a front end developer or
CMS administrator and delivering web-based solutions to corporate clients.
Most importantly, the candidate must be energetic and passionate about technology and looking for an
opportunity to further advance his or her career expecting to move up to a project manager or leadership role
relatively quickly in the field of web solution implementations and healthcare IT in a fast-paced entrepreneurial
environment.


The candidate should:

  • Have experience delivering end user training or demonstrations in person or over the web and be comfortable doing so
  • Have experience developing or implementing web-based solutions or have direct exposure to using content management platforms such as SharePoint, Joomla ,or WordPress, etc.
  • Have strong track project/task management skills and be extremely organized
  • Have experience with core web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web servers
  • Be capable of identifying graphical issues with content as well as identifying issues with the user experience of web applications
  • Be self-driven and detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be energetic and passionate about technology
  • Be strong at maintaining customer relationships
  • 4 year college degree required
